🚀 Big announcement : Wingly closes a €3.5m fundraise, aims for profitability by 2025 and opens up its capital via a crowdfunding campaign to accelerate its growth 🔑🌟 We are proud to announce today a €3.5 million capital increase from our historic investors, including the Innovacom Venture Capital fund who support us since 2020 and is particularly invested in the future of aviation, as demonstrated by its support to innovative aircraft manufacturers Elixir Aircraft and Aura Aero. 💼💰 With our proven business model, this new round of financing will enable the company to achieve the volumes it needs to be profitable and set a course for profitable growth, while accelerating the roll-out of its electric aircraft flights, which it was the first to offer to the public from summer 2023. 🌐🚀 In addition, Wingly is opening up its capital to its community and to the public via a crowdfunding operation on the international Crowdcube platform, which has raised funds for international start-ups such as Revolut, Qonto and Vestiaire Collective. 💡💼 The crowdfunding campaign starts today, May 13th, and will be accessible via the Wingly and the Crowdcube websites until June 19th. ➡ https://lnkd.in/gt_9BKif 💫✈️ #Investissement #Wingly #Crowdfunding #CollaborativeAviation

The ambitious Toulouse-based #startup AURA AERO has received approval from EASA - European Union Aviation Safety Agency to fly Integral E, a two-seater electric aircraft. It is a very important step of its certification process. With Integral E’s maiden flight expected in the coming weeks, Aura Aero is bringing an impressive contribution to sustainable aviation! After the Slovenian Pipistrel Aircraft’s Velis Electro, the second 100% electric aircraft worldwide may very well be French. 🇫🇷 Bravo AURA AERO! It has been an eventful weekend at FFA - Fédération Française Aéronautique’s Aeroclub Congress in Poitiers 📍🇫🇷 🏆 For the fourth consecutive year, we had the opportunity to witness and applaud the dedication of our partner aeroclubs. It has been our utmost honour to award them with two much deserved prizes: - The Sharing Award, presented to Aéroclub Régional de Caen for its outstanding Wingly activity in 2023 - The Commitment Award, highlighting the pioneering efforts of Aéroclub d’Albi in offering shared-cost flights in electric aircraft through our platform. We were delighted to engage with all the aeroclubs present at this annual gathering, from partners to curious minds eager to learn more about the possibilities our platform offers. It was also an opportunity for us to showcase Wingly’s progress and to highlight the testimonials of several aero clubs presidents regarding their experience with our platform, which has become an integral part of the general aviation landscape and continues to enjoy widespread success among aviation organisations. We are proud to witness this success year after year. ✈️ Special thanks to FFA - Fédération Française Aéronautique for the fruitful partnership we’ve been building together since 2017, a collaboration that continues to prove its success: a partnership forged on trust in the vision of Jean-Luc Charron, who has just passed the presidency to Kevin Dupuch, who himself has been a key player and a driving force throughout our collaboration. Yay! 🛩️⚡️ The approval of the Velis Electro for flight training in the USA is a milestone in electric #aviation: for the first time, the world’s first electric aircraft spreads its wings to fly beyond Europe. This notable development sets the world forward in the road to sustainable flying and we are here for it! At Wingly, fostering innovation and embracing green solutions is an integral part of our vision. Another great news for sustainable aviation : after Elixir Aircraft raising 13M€ last week, well done to Beyond Aero for taking-off with the first Hydrogen powered plane in France. We can't wait to see those nice birds on Wingly. And great movie by the way 💪
